Great for our app!

Anyone know the difference between Foxit SDK and their PDF Editor? We used the Desktop PDF SDK for our new app and the integration was pretty smooth. It was easy to get a custom quote for our volume, which was much better than some other places like Adobe or Aspose that just show you basic pricing.

Great features for the price

Mobile PDF SDK pricing was clear, and it saved my team about 25% compared to Adobe.

Great features, but check API tiers

Did anyone else get 27% off the PDF Splitting API with a custom quote instead of a promo code?

Great value, mostly!

Last week, I got a custom quote for their Java PDF Library and saved 20% compared to Adobe, though upgrading feels less straightforward. 🤔

What are Foxit PDF SDK's system requirements?

For the PDF Compression API, did anyone get a 27% off promo code recently? 🤔

Easy to use PDF Embed API

I grabbed the PDF Embed API a few weeks back to try it out for a side project. Getting started was pretty straightforward, no real headaches. It did what I needed it to do without a lot of fuss. Saved me some time, which is always good.

Solid performance but support was slow

I purchased the .NET PDF Library for an application we were building. The ordering process on the site was clear enough, and getting access to the downloads was quick. Implementation of the SDK went fairly smoothly; the documentation was comprehensive and I was able to integrate it into our system without too many issues. We did run into a minor bug during testing with a specific type of PDF conversion, and I reached out to their technical support. It took about 3 days to get a response, which felt a bit long when we were on a deadline. Once they did get back to me, the solution they provided worked, but the initial wait was a bit frustrating. The performance of the library itself has been robust since then, so that's a plus.

Good for the price

I was looking for a decent PDF solution for my app without spending a ton. I ended up getting the Web Viewer SDK. The free trial let me check it out first, which was helpful. I signed up for an annual plan after that. The discount for annual billing made it a pretty good deal overall. It felt like I got good value for what I paid. Compared to some other options I saw, this definitely felt more budget-friendly.

Thinking of trying out one of their SDKs. Do they do free trials for dev stuff or is it just the paid tiers?

M Marcus A. 3 months ago
Yeah, they definitely have free trials for developers. I used one for like a month to test out their PDF editor SDK.

They offer sandbox access too, which is super helpful for kicking the tires without committing anything.

Anyone know how significant the volume discounts get for their APIs? Looking to integrate into a large application and wondering if it's worth pushing for a big discount.

S Sam L. 3 months ago
From what I hear, for enterprise stuff or big volume, you can get some decent reductions, might be 10-20% off for annual, but I've heard of more if you're really big. You'd probably need to talk to sales directly though.

Yeah, their pricing is kinda sales-driven, so if you're talking big numbers, they're usually open to custom quotes.
